From September 18th to 19th, 2019, the 7th National Academic Forum for Doctoral Students of Chinese Subjects was held in the Chinese Department of Sun Yat-sen University. Doctoral student Tan Jing participated in the forum through selection and read the paper. Her essay "Looking at the British Chinese Drama Criticism in the Nineteenth Century from the English Translation of Yuan Zaju "Lao Shenger"" won the Excellent Paper Award of this forum.
