Congratulations to Dr. TSUI Lik Hang for receiving the Teaching Excellence Awards 2022/23

Dr. TSUI Lik Hang, Assistant Professor of the Department of Chinese and History, has just received the University’s Teaching Excellence Awards (TEAs) for 2022/23. Dr. Tsui, a researcher in premodern Chinese history and the digital humanities, adopts digital tools for teaching and learning. His teaching career began in the 2010s when he taught small-group tutorials in the University of Oxford as a doctoral student. Dr. Tsui now teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in history for the department. He also coordinates the MPhil and PhD programmes and is the e-Learning Coordinator in the Department.


The Teaching Excellence Awards, administered centrally by CityU’s Office of the Provost, acknowledge and reward excellent teachers in the University, while promoting and nurturing best teaching practices. The award will be formally presented to Dr. Tsui at the College Commencement. His name will be added to the permanently displayed register of CityU TEA recipients in the Yeung Kin Man Academic Building on campus.
